RESIDENTIAL INTERIOR DESIGN
Through my personal building development experience, and interior design projects I have developed an excellent understanding of residential property building and design. I have a broad range of examples in my portfolio, ranging from full renovations to single or multi room.
What’s my style?
My personal design aesthetic is bold and colourful, using colour, pattern and accessories to create a warm, welcoming and cosy environment. I can work with neutrals of course, but I will do my best to expose you to a wide range of ideas and options and encourage you to push your own design boundaries, within your brief and objectives. I am also happy to broker design compromises for clients where they are sometimes needed… often using 3D visuals and mood boards to support collaborative decision making. I will take the time to understand you, your property and your lifestyle and requirements. I offer a range of services that can be tailored to suit your needs, whether you’d just like an experienced eye to review your own design proposals or develop a full home design, there is a package to match.
COMMERCIAL INTERIOR DESIGN
Over the last few years I have branched out into the Commercial design sector. I have recently completely designed the interior of a South Downs traditional Country Pub, including the fit out of a bespoke craft beer tap room in a Grade II listed building. I have also delivered the design and planning for a large Craft beer, coffee and food destination and am currently working on a new brewery fit out for the tap room, bar and outdoor seating area.
Where do I work?
Most of my clients are located centred around the West Sussex area, but depending on the client and project I will consider travelling further afield.
SketCH UP 3D RENDERING DESIGN & TRAINING
Bring that extra dimension to your ideas and plans with 3D visualisation…! I’m a bit of a Sketch up ninja, I use it on all my own projects as well as with clients. It provides a different and invaluable perspective and insight into how your designs will look and work in practice with the available space as well as the features and any challenges that your space might present.
I initially learnt sketchup whilst studying at KLC in Chelsea. I have since helped train students on sketchup at KLC and undertake my own training. I’m very happy to provide Sketch Up training and to share my knowledge of this invaluable design tool with individuals or groups. This can be undertaken either face to face or using Zoom. The starter course takes around 6 hours to complete but at the end of it, you will be able to design your own room in 3d. All that you need is a PC that can download the free Sketch Up package.
