THE BRIDGE INN
Commercial Interior Design
The Bridge Inn, Houghton Bridge, near Amberley. A popular destination for walkers and cyclists doing the South Downs Way from Winchester to Eastbourne as it marks the halfway point.
The pub was in need of a rethink in the main seating and dining areas in terms of lighting, look and feel. In general the pub interior needed to be freshened up, a clearer style and better natural light where possible. Removing the curved arch wall and lowering the window helped to achieve this on a budget. A detailed clean up of finish, paint and furnishings completed the look.
The state of the place:
- Dated interior
- No clear style
- Poor lighting
The works:
- Improved overall stylisation
- Painted throughout
- Remodelled archway room divider
- New window surround to create extra seating and natural light
- Improved lighting and colour scheme
